About Sajeeb Baksh

SaJeeb Baksh, originally from Bangladesh, is a former US Marine and an FAA certificated instructor (CFII, AGI, IGI, sUAS). Upon returning from a stint in Okinawa, he started flight training in 2001 while stationed at New Bern NC.  He earned his pilot license & ratings in 2003 and considers himself lucky to have been mentored by Joe Miller. He has been actively instructing since 2018. SaJeeb enjoys spending time with his newborn son, is into robotics (Linux geek & a programmer), drones as well as crypto technology.  His favorite small robot that solves his Rubik’s Cube, has been named after Erno Rubik; however, SaJeeb is faster than the Lego robot solving the puzzle.

What Are Students Saying?

"I started my flight training at another school and decided I needed a change. A friend with the hanger next to Howard suggested I look into Tailwinds and I've never looked back. Friendly experienced staff and well maintained aircraft make this a great place to learn to fly. The other benefit is training at a towered airport, it really gives you the full experience and helps sharpen your radio skills."
