The very short answer is that a typical student will spend somewhere between $14,000 – $20,000 to become a private pilot. The cost largely depends on how many hours it will take you to complete you training. It’s different for everyone. This short video will help you understand the pricing.

If you train at least 2 times each week, it generally takes 6-9 months. As you train less
frequently, you’ll also begin to have retention issues and will be spending more time
reviewing things instead of learning new material.

You can purchase a Discovery Flight online. Go to the page by clicking HERE.
Once the flight is purchased, we will contact you and put you on the schedule.

Your training is done one-to-one, with an instructor. You will have flight lessons, where you train in the airplane with your instructor, and you will have ground lessons, where your instructor will work with you in a classroom setting.
You do not need to be a US citizen to take flying lessons in the USA. However, if you do not have a valid/current US Passport, an official copy of a US Birth Certificate OR a Naturalization Certificate, you must obtain an authorization to begin flight training through the Alien Flight Student Program (AFSP). A Green Card (Permanent Resident Card) is not sufficient.
